Lancashire Young Writers was started in October 2021, inspired by the founder's own experiences writing competitively as a child in Surrey.

Writing is a fantastic gateway to countless arts, professions and lifestyles, so the central goal of Lancashire Young Writers is to showcase the writing talent our county's communities already have, as well as encourage those who might not have considered themselves writers before.
